Students love playing head-to-head strategy games. This club will give them the choice of chess and similar games. The Duke, Hive and Onitama are also great family games and inexpensive gifts!
Our Chess Club is a welcoming place for both beginners and experienced young players ages 6–12. Students learn how the pieces move, practice real games, and build strategy skills through fun mini-games, puzzles, and friendly matches.
Beginners are guided step-by-step, while more advanced players explore tactics, endgames, and sportsmanlike competition at their own pace. Our goal is to make chess engaging, confidence-building, and joyful—whether it’s your child’s first game or their hundredth.
