Our more experienced students will have an opportunity to freely design games using what they have previously learned, while being guided through new and relevant concepts! Beginners are welcome and will create their first working video game!
Student will use Makecode Arcade and/or BLOXELS. They will have access to both accounts all month and their projects will be shared with all registered families at the end of the month!
Students will work and create on our new Windows laptops instead of the iPads! : )
Students will code their own video games from scratch. Games will be made in block coding, Javascript and Python!
Learn Microsoft’s inspiring MakeCode system, using block coding and Python, to build real playable video games! Besides developing coding skills, students will learn general game design principles and have fun testing out each other's games.
